Blog Reconstruction

Thanks to my husband, PFD has a new look – I am very pleased!  I believe this is version number three.  Can you dig it?  He took a few of my designs and cutout pieces and arranged them beautifully.  A little offset….and that suits me well.

This is a little sneak peek of what I have been working on the last month or so off and on.  It is all about the senses/favorite things, shapes, and texture.  It is for all the little people and the young at heart.  Coming soon:  better photos and possibly a place to purchase.

Happy Holidays

Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Another card design:

Gifts of Goodies

Same cookies as in the last post, but different packaging.  I thought they looked nice enough to post… so here they are:

Thomas on the go (notice the really cool chair in the background *grin*):

Rainy Days

I am a cuckoo.  It is a very wet and rainy day here and I love it!  Two reasons and not in this order.  One:  it gives you an excuse to put on the kettle for tea or hot chocolate, bundle yourself up in a blanket and read, knit, bake, hug your cat or whatever you like to do.  I started another knitting project!  It has taken me a year or so to even think about knitting again.  Ugh.  I guess it takes the chillier months to make me pick up the needles again.   Two: take the umbrella (if you have snow – take the snowshoes) and go for a walk.  Nothing should stop a person from enjoy the outdoors – rain or snow – right?  Refer back to the first sentence if you happen to disagree.  *grin*

Goodie packages sent out:

Coconut chocolate pinwheels (you can find the recipe here):

Spicy molasses cookies:

The Lone Gerbera

A little happiness on a gloomy day.

Spoonflower

Design your own fabric via Spoonflower!  I love this site.  I was going to wait until I receive my first order of fabric swatches to write this post, but I am too excited and anxiously awaiting to see the final product.  If this really works, I will be so pleased to not have to purchase one more package of inkjet fabric sheets with the peel-off backs.  Ugh!  Has anybody been successful using them?  I would love to hear all about it.
