The Best Muffins…Ever.

How could I pass up a pancake muffin recipe?!?

I wanted to make this recipe over about a month – okay, two months ago after spotting them via Joy the Baker.

What can I say?  I am just a little slow, but it’s worth the wait.  You’ll see.

Try them and you will want to thank Joy too!

And please forgive me, but I had to add in the chocolate chips.

Yes, HAD to.  Forced, really.

* This recipe will only make a half dozen muffins if you choose to use EuroBake Cups (as shown).

Free MOO Business Cards

My cards arrived in the mail yesterday and . . .

If I could go back and make a few changes, I would.  Perhaps with a little more flair, but no complaints and/or whining, right?  They are *free*.  Goodness!

You can order yours here.

Strida Bikes

Just discovered this bike via Small Adventure.  Doesn’t it look like fun to tour around in?

A nice perk – it folds up in thirty seconds.  Take it with you or stow it away.

Find them here.  Watch how fast you can fold a Strida bike here.

* My first fabric giveaway is coming up soon – stay tuned!

Collections

As I continue to rummage through our old storage boxes, getting ready for a move, I am finding more and more things I used to collect.  Some are sentimental (like this) and others are…well, just because.

A few of my collections include fabric, music, vintage hats and brooches, wrapping paper, nose flutes and kazoos, socks – is this getting a little too weird for you?

Yes.  I’ll stop, but there is one more collection I would like to share.

It is one of my favorites:  chopsticks.

What are your favorite collections?

Pixilated

What a whirlwind of a week…actually, couple of weeks!

We were going to move this site over to Squarespace.  We set things up over there, decided it was too much work (with having very little time to devote to it), and now I am back to WordPress.

I like it here.

It feels like home – comfortable, cozy, and my needs are met.  Also, it has a slightly different look, too,  but it’s still in the works!  If you visit often, you might notice slight changes here and there as time goes by.

Once again, excuse the bad photos (I never claimed to be a photographer!), here are some of my recent projects.

Seasonal notepads in the shop:

Business cards and notepad for my parents’ business:

Raspberry marshmallows – brought these along with a flourless chocolate cake (minus the glaze + no photos) when I reunited with some good friends of mine.  It had been nine years – yikes!

Rummaging through storage boxes and found this!  It was my grandmother’s music box.  Kitschy, I know.  *grin*  It plays, “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” and the little mouse twirls around and around.  So cute.  It made me smile.
