On Repeat

Be careful.

This song may (or may not?) cause you to spontaneously twirl around your living room, sing out loud in your car while driving, and/or leave you in a dreamlike state.

Yes.  All of the above for me.

It has been stuck in my head for two consecutive days.  Ugh.

Moving

I haven’t been posting lately because… we are packing it up and heading south to Novato this Friday.

Wow – in just a few days!

Some things I will miss about our house/neighborhood in Santa Rosa:  planting yummy vegetables in the garden, picking plums off the tree and then baking a crumble or cake with them.  Walks with husband, and the scent of wood burning fireplaces in the winter and the fragrance of roses and magnolia trees in the warmer months.  Walking by Mableton and wondering who will live there someday or if it will continue to be a place for tourism and local events like this one.  Finally, the newspaper man’s Corgi named Justin – the sweetest dog ever.

I can’t wait to explore and find new things to love about our new *everything* in Novato.

A little side note: I am not keeping the blog updated while moving, but I am continuing to post really bad iPhone shots on flickr.  See you there!
