This is one of my latest illustrations and now for sale as a square note card with a raspberry-colored envelope – take a look in my shop.
It could pair up nicely with homemade bath salts, soaps, or tea samples. A spa gift certificate, perhaps?
What do you think?

Also, an updated thank you note:

My husband accepted a job in Novato last month, which is only a forty five minute drive or so from where we live, but with traffic, double the time. So let the house hunting begin! Please wish us luck as we look for a cozy place to call home in Petaluma (fifteen minutes from Novato) tomorrow.
A “Congratulations” gift for my husband, a Swedish acoustic guitar:

As I pack up and get ready for the move, I am also purging some of our stuff. Mostly from my closet. *grin* So I decided to set up shop on eBay. It is not exactly a “shop”, but it is more like a moving sale. It will start Monday, January 11th with just a couple of items. My shoes are the first to go – pairs of shoes that have only been worn once or twice in my lifetime. Seriously.
Here is a sneak peek, but keep checking back! There will be more and more “stuff” to add as I am packing up.
J Crew black patent leather loafers:

Born red leather mules:

Book labels! I was inspired by this stamp from a California State Textbook, 1961.
If you have an ever-growing book collection, wouldn’t it be nice to look inside each book and know who it is from? I also thought about the many books I have purchased at thrift stores and antique shops, and to know (if there is not an inscription inside) whose book I have found, and now cherish. Terribly sentimental and a little curious, I suppose. Check them out here and let me know what you think!

Take a look at my new invitations via Etsy. It is a new and kind of random idea, but it hit me weeks ago as my husband and I were driving through the hills on Highway 12 and REALLY wishing for the spring season to arrive. And spring is just the beginning for long strenuous bike rides to the ocean, park, around a lake and etc. You get my drift. So why not get the word out to your friends and/or loved ones to join you in the adventure with an invitation?

Check them out or leave me a comment. What do you think? Good or bad idea? I would love to hear from you!
…and choose from any three!

My shop is now open!
Wow…I joined Etsy in 2007 and finally, the first three note card designs are now available. It is very, very modest and lacks a bit on information regarding policies and etc, but feel free to contact me at jenATpancakesfordinnerDOTcom with any questions or comment here. I have never done this before, so your feedback, thoughts and even criticism will be appreciated! I will post more designs and updates soon so please keep checking back.
