What is this?

I'm tinsmith and this is my webspace.

I've started a few websites and blogs over the last...uh, two decades? Ish? Jeez. Most of them didn't really become anything other than lint in the vents over at the Wayback Machine. I tried some frameworks, WYSIWYG editors, PHP, blah blah blah, hated all of it. A few years ago, I went back to basics and just did strict HTML/CSS and that felt pretty correct for me and what I wanted to do. That site lasted awhile, but it was tech focused, which left me glaring angrily at the bars of the cage I had accidentally built for myself.

This is a place to collect writings on my personal life, my take on the state of the things, various projects I am working on, and even some short stories I've managed to squeeze out of the ol' electric ham.

I like writing. It helps me think.
